Beware – Mr Fluffy and the implications for buying property or existing owners
ACT – Mr Fluffy. The ACT Government is purchasing the Mr Fluffy homes which will hopefully be a good outcome for most property owners. However, dual occupancy is looking like the new norm for the blocks of land.
If you are intending to buy property any time soon in the ACT you may want to look carefully (even more so than usual) at the property’s history as well as its future.
If you are an existing property owner you may also want to check out all the neighbourhoods affected to see if this includes you. Changes are in progress where dual occupancy / strata title and changes to block sizes that may impact on your existing home or property.
