Optimism perhaps

It gives great optimism when you read that The Economist now says “clearing forests may enrich those who are doing it, but over the long run it impoverishes the planet as a whole”.  Sadly, the same can be said for the Murray Darling Basin – we have all benefited from the food and resources through the use of it but for the long run we need to do it very differently.  Using the ecoproperty(R) methodology would have at least made for fair and reasonable solutions, rather than disadvantaging many individuals, families and businesses by the current strategy.  There are other answers to many of the environmental questions we are facing.
